Curtis Allen Middltent

Curtis Allen Middltent was born July 14, 1978 to Adrian F. Middletent and Debbie (Sees The Elk) Middletent. He attended Lower Brule Elementary School, Kennebec Middle School, and Lower Brule High School graduating with the Class of 1998. He then attended Haskell University at Lawrence, KS. After that, Curtis returned to Lower Brule where he was employed with the Lower Brule Employment Enterprise, Lower Brule Housing, Rango Construction in Mitchell, and Presho Livestock and Horses. He enjoyed working for the rodeo. Curtis enjoyed his family and friends and was a very humorous person. He was an easy going person who would helped any one in need.

Curtis passed away on June 2, 2017 at Sanford Care Center in Chamberlain at the age of 38. He leaves behind a son Patrick “Charlie” Driving Hawk; special grandchildren Marley and Amira; eight siblings Lisa Goodlow, Carrie Middletent, Lorenda Middletent, Kristin Middletent, Melaine Red Water, Blair Middletent, Darren Flute, and Stephanie Langdeau; auntie Pauline “Mom” Middletent, Marie Charger, Marrican Middletent; and lots of nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. He will be laid to rest with his parents Adrian and Debbie Middletent; grandmother Cecelia; two brothers Lawrence Flute, Sr. and Kim Goodlow; grandmother Dorothy; sisters Sally Sees The Elk; and uncle Joe Sees The Elk.

Funeral services for Curtis Allen Middletent, 38, Lower Brule took place at 1:00 pm Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the Lower Brule Community Center in Lower Brule with burial in the Cedar Creek Cemetery at Lower Brule.
