Lynell Kay Morrison-Cash was born on July 5, 1971 in Pine Ridge, SD to Alphonso Morrison, Sr. and Doris (Good Voice Elk) Morrison. Lynell made her journey on February 23, 2018 near Rushville, NE.

Lynell is survived by her daughter, Jessica Cash of Pine Ridge, SD; son, Paul Morrison, Jr. of Pine Ridge, SD; hunka son, Tristan Pond of Pine Ridge, SD; god daughter, Crystelle Miranda of Cincinnati, OH; siblings, Anita (David) Wounded Head of Potato Creek, SD, Charity (Kenneth) Morrison-Hill of Pine Ridge, SD, Erna Morrison of Hay Springs, NE, Peggy Morrison of Belle Fourche, SD, Wanda (William) Corey of Boston, MA, Alphonso (Yvonne) Morrison, II of Rapid City, SD, Nadine Morrison of Slim Buttes, SD, Randi (Will) Morrison, Paul Morrison, Sr., and Lionel Morrison, all of Pine Ridge, SD, Deloris (Danny) Ferguson of Kyle, SD, Pam (Leon) Little Moon of Gordon, NE, and Victoria (Tim) Blankenship of Rapid City, SD; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Lynell was preceded in death by her parents, Alphonso, Sr. and Doris Morrison; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Cash; son, Waylon Cash; nephews, James McLaughlin and Cleveland “Joey” Wounded Head; and niece, Jaimie Morrison.

Two-night wake and evening prayer services began on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD. Funeral Services were on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD. Officiating was Pastor Kim Montileaux, Patrick Ashley, Chris Morgan, Rodger Rinker, and Alex Bad Bear. Burial was at St. Timothy Cemetery, Potato Creek, SD. Arrangements entrusted with Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD.
